Marianne you are an example to all and you have been extremely helpful to me, from afar, for 33 years. I wish you every success and pray every day for a return of USA and the planet to the respect and common sense that you unfailingly deliver. Blessings and many thanks ❤️🙏

Hi Marianne, indeed, it's time America grew up and embraced equality but we still lag behind so many other countries when it comes to female leadership as well as international organization, like the International Monetary Fund. Plus, it seems around 60 percent of American women still subjugate themselves to men's views and actions probably due to their lack of education and fear of survival.

So Marianne you have a great opportunity to let women know their lives count! I know too many women who are grasping instead of embracing the reality that they too have equal rights as humans and are not lesser. I embrace your endeavors. And I remember back in the '80s some organizations offered assertiveness training courses to women, and I was so hopeful they would grow into their authentic selves. You are exemplary Marianne in showing the way with your courage and integrity. March on...Joan

Sadly I thought you recently stated you pulled out of the race? I’ve adored and respected you from the Manhattan Center For Living days to the monthly visits to our HIV/AIDS group so many years ago. Keep On Trucking ie Campaigning, Miss Marianne!

Women need 50% of Congress by rights of being women (and ALL law making bodies worldwide) so that we can legislate for ourselves because men cannot protect us from male violence, or speak for our needs or values.....women must do this for ourselves.

Women have been perceived as weak throughout a human history of male violence. Humanity excels at violence and hence most of us want a strong male who will kill our enemies! It is simply horrible!

A wise woman will rub even many other women the wrong way. I wish I understood why!

I am all for a wise and brave woman president!

Looking around at the state of women in America particularly the ones in power like Karen Bass, Kamala, London, Fani, Tish, Michelle Woo, Keisha Bottoms, Bowser, Pelosi and most of the others, it’s easy to see why women are failing to “crack the ceiling.” They are failing in most of their public positions. Oh well hopefully a tranny will come along and rescue you.

Cheers.

Why do believe American women in public service are failing? Your triggers reflect your own inner issues. "You never hate your brother for his sins, but only for your own." (ACIM)

I believe they are failing because they too often adopt “progressive” policies that actually undermine their intentions. At best many of them are dumb and actually are progressive, at worst they eat up the lies from their billionaire donors who hate this country. Either way they end up failing and making it harder for other women.

No I don’t have hang ups or triggers. Just seeing with my own eyes.

Wow, Viccus, I am curious: why is adopting progressive policies failing because they rarely get passed or what? Or do you view those policies as threatening or wrong-headed? Let us all know. Thanks!

Thanks, I didn’t realize I had not made that clear.

It’s because progressive policies, for example “no bail” “lax drug laws” and “sanctuary cities” to name just three are destructive to civil society.

Lots to chew on Viccus. Thanks for your reply!

If I were MW or any other reasonable woman wanting to “crack the ceiling” I would EMBRACE womanhood not wokism.

For example when it comes to abortion, “safe legal and rare” is still the best message. Not abortion past birth like progressives and not IVF criminalization like the far right.

Homelessness, simple choose strong law enforcement FOR THE PURPOSE of rehabilitation. If you do drugs on the street, you go to jail. In jail you get an opportunity for full rehabilitation.

Education, focus on parental rights and temper it with high standards AND good pay for teachers. Take the politics out of schools and get rid of the sexualization of kids.

Transgenderism, simple take the feminist stance of protecting women’s spaces and women’s sports and their opportunities, but temper it with reconfigured bathroom/ locker room spaces allowing for dignity of transgenders. Perhaps transgendered sports and their own opportunities. Equal opportunities and protection for transgenders but also for religious rights and freedom of speech. A woman can thread this needle and bring dignity to this social conundrum.

The budget, seriously women can make a dollar out of 85 cents. Get at it.

Ultimately women should be less woke and more REAL. Then they will succeed and no glass ceiling will resist.

But who is courageous enough to be honest? Real?
