Misogyny is so pervasive in so many cultures and has roots going back thousands of years. We are still so blind to it. Most of us have been exposed to well over a million advertising messages and most still believe they are not affected by them. Misogyny is often more subtle than advertising messages and we are exposed to it even more frequently than advertising. It is one of those hidden assumptions. It takes conscious effort by each individual to root it out. My hope is that more of us make that effort.
I think this is a message politically active people should have already learned from the 2020 Sanders and Warren campaigns. The failure of both campaigns involved a lot of undue toxicity. Fixing our political problems also means rethinking our gendered assumptions about who has the capacity to lead our country.
Wish I could remember where I read this. Humanity has moved the weather more than patriarchy. Prime example, Bernie now Andrew, men stop this shit. Marianne’s presentation skills, out perform every candidate. She has a complete written plans for the people. She’s on the ground with the people but these 2 men feel entitled to cast their loving opinionated endorsement for another, Biden who they both disagreed with, only men, in my lifetime, I’ve seen this shit just to much.

In 1984 ,while in college, the question was proposed to the class “From a Christian perspective, Should a woman be president? “ This was the title of our end of term papers.
My Responce : If a woman knows who she is, in Love, and she has the desire in her heart to be president, then she will be. And She will be remarkable.
The president of the college refused to grade my paper. He said it did not deserve recognition. I knew he was sick and wrong.
I hoped that someday I would see a strong female president , as women at that time had to “burn their bras” to make a statement for woman’s rights. Why did a woman have to “fight “ for her rights to be heard as a human being? Because men kept women in their place? A place that stroked their own ego for far too long. There were many female leaders in other countries that were powerful and taken seriously at that time. Just not in the man’s world that I lived in. America.
Woman have grown since then and filled powerful leadership positions yet still unrecognized by both men and women who live in denial of who they really are authentically and a society that clings to a stereotypical belief that the man is the leader and head of the household. While intelligent women take leadership seats in high places they still see themselves as less in many circles.
Recently I have heard a strong candidate for president speak powerful truth and is a very strong leader with the integrity that every leader should reach for and respect as admirable. This woman is undeniably fresh and bold and honest and brave.
Spiritually speaking there is no person more qualified to lead this country, holding Truth higher than greed , than MW. There is No leader that speaks with a non biased mature wisdom that can be heard in every subject addressed except for MW.
This country needs a confident and strong mother spirit to stand for us and put some egotistical, greed filled bullies in the corner for their disrespectful sick behavior, which hurts all of us. They need to take a back seat and watch how such a wise person can restore a country to one that the people can be proud to live in. Our country is not that now. Marianne Williamson is a person who has that kind of integrity and knowledge that can transition us to a more peaceful and solidly connected and balanced country.

That kind of attitude in his language isn’t just misogynistic. It’s also a gimmick to try to make it look like he’s coming from a position of knowledge & power and intimidate and seed doubt into your supporters because “you Marianne must be realistic so just throw in the towel.”
I see right through it- it’s a weak ploy whether that’s targeted at a female or anyone else.
Yang stuffs a boot into his mouth and right down his throat, given Dean is more “mainstream” and isn’t turning on voters at your level - while you are truly a very different thinker, a visionary and exciting voters who take the time to listen and read what you’re about.
