So beautifully said, Marianne. May the new thinking begin with reconnecting with the person we see in the mirror...with truly acknowledging how we survive each day. None of us produce the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, etc. Acknowledging we exist based on the contributions of humanity and the natural universe that sustains us gives us the authentic inspiration of a grateful and loving heart. Nothing in nature lives independently.

Yes the still Apartheid States in 2023 are a symptom of unconsciousness . You may not know but New Zealand( the home of hobbits) in 2023 joins Israel in being a UN (and govt) supported Apartheid State.
If only people would not (mis)identify with a race/nation choosing an illusion over Reality ...fear over love. Happy New year!

I am so moved to read all this today, Marianne—and this prayer! For years, I have I prayed this with every cell without knowing those particular words. Decades back in meditation, I was shown what felt like a revelation of Jerusalem as the heart chakra of this planet. I "knew" that the healing there would change the world. From that healing and unification would emanate rays and rays, waves and waves of light and transformative love to where it was needed in nations and hearts throughout this planet. Since then for the past almost 50 years, I have turned my attention to visualizing those rays of Light, of Love, emanating from that Holy place.
In recent years, I have felt more discouraged and even questioned what was revealed to me. Your post and our entry into transformative 2023 strengthens my resolve. Now, I will add this prayer to my meditations: "The holiest spot on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love."
Thank you, as always, for being the vessel you are.
