Sorry Marianne I disagree with this political agenda( for carbon taxes and carbon trading).

The climate has always been in a state of change.

Climate change has been constant.

Planetary climate is not from man( that is very egoic and "Al Gore" ).

Its a political agenda . A presented and highly well funded (theory) for the carbon industry the central bankster's desire.

The sun, oceans and water vapor (even the planetary tilt )drives the climate.

Actual science does not support man changes the climate and there is no consensus( I note there was for flat earth theory) .

Co2 is not a pollutant, its plant food.

The love in me salutes the love in you.

...and (as I am a very good devils advocate)Marianne my love if your believe this "Al Gore" political theory your international tour - flying around the planet - your action will be in conflict to what you say you believe( just like Soro's actor Greta and her global jet setting ). The actor Greta tried to guilt people out and created much climate anxiety and suffering, there is now a group who are afraid they have no future( and not metaphysically as no one does we only have the present).

I find the whole thing both tragic and amusing, the politicians and their corporate media deliberately switch words and meanings like switched pollution with "carbon" and "C02" when we are carbon life forms (haha) and C02 is not pollution.

Their slogan "Carbon zero" would mean no more carbon based life forms.

They rely on fear thinking, scientific ignorance of the general population.

It is a death cult. Built on fear and ignorance.

... PS Peter Kalmus is in Jet Propulsion ...

hello ...hello Jet propulsion ...space travel .... he's clearly a (hypocritical) paid by George Soros a central bankster lobbyist.

They want this carbon trading industry big time.

Come on please switch on the skeptical and reasoning God has given us.

Love not fear.

What Peter Kalmus is talking about is having a real effect. My husband who did a lot of flying in the past is now meeting up on Zoom. Zoom that took flight during the pandemic really got people thinking sustainably. Yes they miss the face to face but it is wonderful to see their conviction to continue to meet up on Zoom and help keep their carbon footprint small.

This was not a boring conversation. I like how you both responded with each other from a real natural place. Peter Kalmus gave me a view of the climate emergency from a personal and collective lens. Rare to learn about science, the environment, and spiritual levels at one moment.

I continue to hope U.S. Envoy John Kerry can gather enough significant support soon to address climate change since our newest war is impairing plans to fast-forward decarbonization (2025 is a marker to prevent temperature increases); also, military activities release a lot of carbon emissions into the air. And increasing extraction of fossil-fuel energy in the U.S. to help the war effort as well as to reduce inflation is ill-served and exasperating too!

These circumstances, indeed, are a frightening, sickening setback. It only seems massive collective will can save us from destroying planet Earth, along with its inhabitants. Yet, I still remain hopeful that us humans will finally wake-up to reality and unite to save life. It's not too late!
