TODAY HAS BEEN MAYBE THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE. MY STEP GRANDSON HAS STOLEN FROM ME AND HIS GRANDMOTHER TO THE POINT NOW THAT I HAVE BEEN LEFT WITHOUT ANY MATERIAL ITEM I NEED AND NO ABILITY TO PURCHASE ANYTHING I NEED BECAUSE HE HAD MY DEBIT CARD CANCELED DUE TO THE FRAUD HE INFLICTED ON MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I THINK HE HAS TUNED MY STEPFAMILY MEMBERS AGAINST ME SINCE THEY ARE NOT VICTIMS OF HIS DECEIT. EVEN HIS GRANDMOTHER IS NOT CONVINCED OF HIS GUILT. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THE SONG FROM GODSPELL SOMETHING LIKE "THANK THE LORD FOR ALL HIS LOVE". I AM JUST THANKFUL THAT I AM ALIVE IN THE HOPE THAT TOMORROW WILL BE A BETTER DAY.
This reminds me that we need to consciously connect to our Whole Self, i.e. Soul too - I do believe this collaboration is necessary as well! This was a BIG reminder for me today, to do both, i.e. with others and with my Soul!!!
Dear Marianne - I always cringe when you use the cancer cell metaphor regarding ‘we are not here only for ourselves’. It is not scientifically accurate- and for people who have had and been treated for cancer, it can be a trigger for the trauma associated with it. ( the standard treatments are invasive, toxic, disfiguring, radiologically poisonous, produce devastating side effects and often leaving permanent damage and increased vulnerability to cancers at later stages of life. ). Can’t you find another way to make your point?
