I think this is difficult for most people because our entire subjective perception is confined to our minds, which does not have the ability to contain all the information that exists, let alone concepts our human consciousness is not even equipped to understand. The full picture is beyond reach, yet for most of our lives, the relatively small-compared-to-the-universe subjective mind feels like everything, it's huge. Then to make things even more complicated, our negative experience isn't invalid. Our brains evolved to feel fear, anger, and everything that holds love back, and it's real and can really hold love back. We see it happen all the time. It just isn't at the root and thus shouldn't be the attributes that guide us to make decisions. Nobody asks that we be perfect, that we attune so wholly to the core of reality that we can never miss the mark in our behavior; however, you wouldn't want someone who is overcome by hatred/indifference and all the malice it produces making decisions that affect people.
Difficult...maybe, but....we all have the love it takes...to be open to this wisdom...for we all are the masters of our own light...Peace be with us
