Beautiful Marianne- I ask myself, why do we insist on swimming upstream rather than going with the flow which is the way The Universe intends. We're strange creatures in several areas but the biggest one is the belief that we have to do it all ourselves, rather get out of our own way! I believe, we've been programmed from an early age and that progranmming is continuously reinforced by the insane paradigm that 90% of the world calls "normal". Pradoxically, if we surrender we win, if we let go we get a firmer grip. Try selling that concept to the after work crowd at the bar, numbing their fears and pain with alcohol and the nodding heads around them. In effect we're trying to play God.
The line « Outside of love’s embrace, the world is chaos. » reminded me of this beautiful song by my friend Nyna Shanti called « La Paix Dans Le Chaos ». I don’t know if you speak/understand French, but... even if you don’t the message is pretty clear. Un message d'espoir et d'amour...
