Enlightenment is my goal today The journey of enlightenment is a journey of the mind: from a focus on the body to a focus on spirit, from a limited sense of self to an unlimited sense of Self, from a sense of separateness to a sense of unity with all things, from blame to blessing, and from fear to love.
I have read this morning meditation before, and this time I related to a passage in the Gospel, said by Jesus to Nicodemus. It is in John 3:5-12. When I study the passage it is not about worshiping Jesus, but that Jesus' was trying to teach to people that they have a physical birth, and a spiritual birth if they are seeking the Holy God.
Jesus expected Nicodemus to already know this when he said, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not understand these things?" It is about how life opens when a person understands Spirit.
As enlightenment becomes my goal, my life is free to transform. I release my attachment to lower things, allowing my mind to be guided into higher realms. Fear dissolves, and my love flows forth. I am redeemed and I am changed. Thanks, Marianne, for this pathway into higher realms. God bless you.
