I need only choose what has always been true and has always been me. I need only choose what has always been closer than my own breath. I need only to choose the light.

Thankyou Marianne-a beautiful Meditation. Once again the theme emergers that I have Free Will. I've commented before on the mixed blessing that comes with God's gift to us. Quite literally I can point myself in any direction I choose. Powerful. The insidious challenge comes from "Our Greatest Fear"a brilliant and very insightful revelation. This all ties in beautifully with ACIM-it takes courage and Faith to reject the brainwashing we've all been through, beginning in early childhood. We are, by nature, tribal beings yet that need can be my undoing. I must choose leadership which can be a lonely path, but my responsibility is to fulfill the needs of others for the yearning to belong by creating my own tribe based on the core truth of Love. Only by accepting the privelege God has given me and be a steadfast bearer of Light and Love can I be all I was born to be. This is a huge challenge for all of us. Ultimately the need for tribalism has to be replaced by a freedom of sovereignty. This doesn't mean I stand alone it means I stand as a giant amongst equals, but it starts with leadership, which is a direct contradiction to everything I've been told. The realisation that the teachings of my parents, my school, my peers and Society is all based on fear is enormous. Particularly in the paradox that it was all well meaning. That's why I (we) have to stand up accept God's amazing gift and Lead.
