Love this. Thank you πŸ™

You are the only honorable person or candidate in government, it often feels like. Thank you for all you do.

I’m so incredibly heartbroken you left the presidential race, but I do hope there will be something with immense positive impact in store for you and us.

We saw you speak in Auckland and were so impressed you were considering running for the Presidency again ... no doubt somewhat bruised again for doubling down but the legacy you have left humanity will live long in all of our collective memories ... so much respect and appreciation for your courage in the face of overwhelming odds ... Kia kaha and much aroha from Aotearoa New Zealand πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ™πŸ½βœ¨

Yes - honor, integrity, and all those noble qualities. We can start within our own heart, our own lives and radiate from there. Marianne surely set the standard that needed to be replaced out there as an example in the cultural eye. I hope many eyes and hearts saw it.

Yes. One deed, one interaction, each conversation.

Thank you.

I am 68-years-old and I have been doing ACIM, daily, for over 40 years. I have given up on sharing my thoughts (except, occasionally, online). I have been confident that the only path to happiness is by doing my best to do the right thing and be a good person. Other people used to seem inspired by my example, and enjoyed hearing about my devotion to optimism.......I now keep my mouth shut and only share silently. It seems that the things that it used to be intriguing to say, now send people running away screaming. Any suggestion that questions the "what's in it for me" mentality is dismissed without anyone contemplating "what if" anymore. I will continue to not be motivated by fear of hunger or homelessness, but I feel more distant from the Truth in everyone than I have ever felt before. If this world will not, lovingly, provide a body for me, then I am happy to go. I know not why I would otherwise choose to be in such a strange place, where people act like taking things from others will lead to happiness, no matter how it affects those that are taken from. I love you.

Thank you for speaking so honorably about honor! You articulate the ills of our society while maintaining optimism and enthusiasm. Your perspective is a real gift.

Thank you dear Marianne for your continued inspiration and guidance. Maybe we just have to look harder for those honourable experiences, and for the sake of our future generation we weave the golden threads every day. Love and gratitide from Sydney, Dianne x

It seems that honor and doing what's right doesn't PAY, nor does it serve those who's hearts are far gone from a just society which seeks to fortify the common good. I wait and wonder when "the first will be last and the last will be first". It must be coming since we've already seen that " what is wrong will seem right, and what is right will seem wrong".

We desperately need a collective change of heart in this world.

Thank you for all your efforts and love in that regard.

Thank you, Marianne, for your unfailing honor and integrity. We must all lead by setting a good example. The darkest hour is just before dawn. I do not understand why core values have been abandoned by those in power, except that money is at the root of all evil. Yet, I see that, in the way of all empires, this one is falling and I detect the dawn of pure new light and new world order on the horizon.

Marianne, I hope you will personally read these comments from people who wanted so much for you to be our next president. I feel like I have been holding my breath since 2015 when you took the courageous move of running for president. I didn't know you until then, but now cannot imagine my life without you. I, like you are, would have been utterly despondent about the characteristics that you list in this essay that so honestly declare who we have become as a country.

I remember when I read, early in this recent run for office, that we needed lots of money to win. That is so wrong! Think of all the good people, including you, who would try to change things and be thwarted by the need for incredible amounts of money to stay in the race. Billions, you said, the opposition has. It sounded defeating then, but I could not send large amounts of money. I'm 75, a lifelong activist and dissenter from Berkeley. I have an 86 year old husband, a former psychiatrist here in Boulder and he has expensive health issues. Money it not something we have a lot of, nor should we need it to live comfortably in retirement in this democracy.

We both love and respect you, your goals for us in the US and we have been holding our breath, hoping every day that you would win in the 2024 election. We need you, our country needs you. I have cried every day since the inevitable announcement that you could no long run. We suspected it was about money, but also about the treachery, that a woman cannot be president and the powers that be would see that you didn't have a chance.

What a country, what a world we would live in if you were president! We will never forget your courage and straightforward truths, ambitions for our democracy, and hard work. If I had a billion dollars, I would give it all to you, and together, we would win!

Pure gold.

Thank you so much.

This needs to be said.

Knowing you and listening to you and watching you learning from and with you and supporting you since the 80s I have complete faith in your spiritual walking in whatever form it takes. Many of the things I thought I was supposed to be ended up in pieces on the ground. And still I rise. βœ¨πŸ•Šβœ¨

Go gently, Dear One. You, we are so needed here. We are the Light of the World.

Love,

Martha

You speak the truth! And you've inspired me to take action! I'll be guided by the question, ' How can I be honorable, today?' Also, I thought it'd be interesting to look up the definition of honorable; "deserving of respect or high regard (to honor our commitments to ourself and others..); characterized by integrity; guided by a keen sense of duty and ethical conduct." I'm going to make a list, now of things to do, and I'm going to do them. :D

You are honorable, btw!

I believe in America, thanks to you!

A lot like all the β€˜love’ for Missouri with exactly zero intent or even interest in passing laws or voting for people who WILL PASS LAWS controlling gun ownership in any even small way. I don’t know how we wrest honor and respect for self and others back from the sewer of our society. But I agree that unless we do - until we do - we are on a countdown to the end of this democracy as we have ever known it.

What I have seen over the last spread of darkness( fear aka covid)alongside the push to evolve human consciousness is that it is clear to more people that the Govts(that are set up as the central bankers corporations)say one thing while doing the opposite. We are more aware of the stark contrast between words and actions and nothing is more obvious than in politics. Words have been deliberately flipped by the corporate media, for example what was once right wing is now called left. Peak insanity( I hope). You brought some sanity into the dark pit( politics= the art of deception) and where you were I think that was a first.

And its so right Marianne , we are all one and as pixels of love( this word is pointing to God) we can radiate from our personal sphere healing which can spread just as prolifically as the fear and ignorance does.

Peace and love

Your courage seems amazing, buoyed, I imagine by wisdom and faith. I don't want to imagine what's next for our civilization if we continue the path we're being led down right now by the power brokers. Thank you for all your work as a catalyst for change.

I will continue to do what can be possible to transform our waning democracy. I owe it to the children following behind us. And they deserve it.
