The press called you woo woo when you were running for president but I still believe you were the voice of reason.

I will be only gentleness; in thought, word and deed. "Holiness must be shared, for therein lies everything that makes it holy" (ACIM.T.14.V.11.6) Thank you, Marianne, for the effort that you put in, daily, to share with us. It is good for me and fills me with happiness.

My dear Marianne, some of your recent pieces are critically important and timely - you speak straight to my heart. You distill so insightfully the turbulence and the chaos of the state of humanity's consciousness at this time, and the inevitable reflection of that unconsciousness upon the environment, each other, ourselves and our children. And while some people - thank God - are called, and able to undertake globally significant projects on behalf of humanity, for most of us, the mere act of mindfully asking "what is mine to do at this time?" and listening very, very carefully for/to the answer, and acting upon it, can help to sway the pendulum in a positive direction. Thank you for so eloquently shining light on humanity's shadows. Much love to you.

“Every instant, consciously or unconsciously, we make a choice whether to … help heal … or … further destroy the world.”… Nicely written …

This is why we’re here as human beings on this planet … TO STRUGGLE WITH OURSELVES!

Marianne, you've defined our times astutely and accurately. I have been involved with some of the new scientific/social paradigm movements visa vi Drs. Jean Houston and Anneloes Smitsman and others, like Ervin Laszlo, all advocating for consciousness transformation of the masses visa vi international campaigns, like The Upshift as well as others--with ties to the U.N. My vision or higher heart tells me that as an elder, we must help the young transition to a better world--I am hopeful, but we all know time isn't on our side--scientists giving us maybe eight years to course-correct. So we all must personally and collectively self-correct from being competitive to service-oriented and from being aggressive to kind--as you well relate by forgiving others and ourselves too.

Equally important, I recently heard Anne Baring, who I think you know, discuss the history of humanity and how love over fear got dismantled about 4,000 years ago due to the shift of no longer honoring women as the Goddesses and placing men as leaders in the spiritual/secular realms that dismantled the balance and coherence required to be a thrivable society. So we need, more than ever, to have our global cultures embrace women as equals in order to help all sentient beings remain thrivable, including our Earth home. Finally, I am so glad you wrote this peace today. It would be great to get all the international groups together, along with yours, to help the young: since we are now the wisdom keepers, and they truly need us to have any future and we must deeply support them! Thanks for all you do. Namaste.

Thank you for these wise loving words. What you so aptly name "attack thoughts" are a symptom of this disease of separation, "us" and "them" belief, and scarcity. To live from the heart wisdom, speak from the heart wisdom, THINK from the heart wisdom, is counter to what we've been shown and yet it is the way. And forgiveness, starting with the self, is the first step. Today's post is so timely and such a good reminder. Namaste. I'm off for a forgiveness walk.

The great spiritual teachers have always taught this. Thought and consciousness determine everything from financial well-being to the level of an individual's blood pressure. I have been moving away from the mindset of attack, for some years now. Active participation in Baha'i has helped. Even in dealing with our Faith's opponents, we are taught to follow the path of love, which means understanding all points of view-though we hardly have to give in to attacks borne of hatred.

Thank you Marianne... I wholeheartedly agree...

“Peace is my passion.

If someone had told me thirty-five years ago that

the key to peace was inner peace,

I would have thought them utopian and unrealistic.

I preferred instead to work on something more practical –

which was to focus on strategies for negotiation.

Now I have come to realize that I was the one

who was perhaps unrealistic in believing

we could arrive at a sustained peace in the world

without also doing the necessary work within ourselves.”

Thank you Marianne. I especially, especially love, "our collective behavioral patterns of attack and defense are literally maladaptive for our survival as a species. ...Every instant, consciously or unconsciously, we make a choice whether to help heal or further destroy the world. To bless is far more powerful than to blame. “Namaste” as an operating principle is so much better, and ultimately more survivable for all us, than “Fuck you.”
