Project 2025 has nothing to do with Trump. NOTHING. Stop abusing your fragile readers with misinformation. If you want to know what Trump is planning look up Agenda 47.

It’s going to be ok. Just prepare yourself emotionally for the coming year. Some of the actions needed like mass deportations of criminals WILL happen and will be difficult to watch. Just turn the TV off and let us handle it.

Thank us later.

“Just turn off TV and let you handle it?” That’s a terrifying thing to say. I hope it is as repellent a concept to others as it is to me

This isn't somebody I want to give a lot of my time and energy. Even when I have differed with you greatly, I'm still here, I give you my time and my words, and if your words give me energy I give mine back to you.

That other guy is just an invasive crank. It was Noble of you to answer him. Noble, but not necessary. ❤

Really? You turned off the TV and looked the other way when 30 million of them were being brought here the last few years by NGOs and DHS. You looked the other way when millions of women and little girls were given “rape kits” to cross the Darien Gap. You couldn’t be concerned when thousands of little girls were tied to the infamous “rape tree” at the AZ border and raped by the cartels. You couldn’t be bothered to notice the 325k children lost by DHS to human trafficking some sold into literal slavery. ($6 per hour pay) and yes when we mentioned the cats in Springfield, well that’s just racism.

Sorry MW, you and your bubble wrapped limo libs looked the other way and even voted for four more years of rape and human trafficking so yes. Look the other way while we fix the mess y’all made.

The hardest piece of all this will be the reckoning when you and people like you realize the role you actively played in the destruction of millions of lives.

Viccus, are you not aware that your hero "who has nothing to do with Project 2025"...just stunning...has been convicted of rape? A rapist, fascist President of the United States of America. This, to you, is a good thing. What are you doing here anyway?

Expand full comment

No he wasn’t convicted of rape you slanderer. In this country we have due process to protect innocent people from being persecuted by corrupt tyrants.

You are the guilty one! You and your hordes of demon possessed shrieking low IQ, narrative shit eaters, cheered as an innocent man was falsely accused and our due process laws were trashed. Screw you. You don’t deserve this beautiful country because you trashed it out of your hatred for one man. You are guilty. You subhuman banshees are too devolved to even understand what you’ve done. The founders would spit on you. You lost because you deserved to lose.

And so well-mannered, too. I'm pretty sure that if psychiatrists read your response to me, they would recommend a stay at one of their facilities.

You don’t have to put a link to a fake news site. I actually read all of the court proceedings. It’s a hobby.

Listen DJT has had armed security with him at all times since the early 80s. Why? Because when the FBI was busting the mob in NYC they used Trump the biggest contractor as a lure.

If you believe Trump touched that cadaver you are dumb. Let me guess PJ was innocent, right?

Trump himself admits that many of the people he originally picked were the result of his naivety in Washington politics and that he was influenced by lobbyists and people he no longer supports or trusts. He's got some people of incredible talent and ethics surrounding him now. And I read somewhere that they want Marianne on the peace team, which is so very wise. Let's look forward....that's where we're going. We can do better. We can be better.

Marianne, you were ahead of the nonsense and above the angry jabs. I wore my “Marianne for president” shirt to the polls. I see better because of you. Keep doing you! Albert Camus noted that, “real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present.” Despite the horrible treatment you received from the DNC you have remained generous, poised and forward thinking. Thank you peaceful warrior!

Dear Marianne, deep gratitude for your heart centred wisdom. I had a dream this morning after watching your post. ‘A man came to fix my VW camper (a representation of freedom?) However, he got in it and just started it up. I got in, with the idea he might drive off - which he did. It was a little scary but somehow I felt in control. He drove to a place where there were others in his gang and when he got out they began disagreeing and fighting. I took the opportunity to escape - I had to jump over some steep rocks - and looked for somewhere to hide. It was a busy market town and I came across a school library. The children welcomed me in and hid me under their soft toys. The men came but the children and teachers did a good job of protecting me. The men knew I was there but the numbers of vulnerable children and teachers meant they couldn’t get to me.’ Then I woke up. The children must be us, strength in numbers and strength in vulnerability. I don’t know if you will get to read this but it was such a profound dream, and I feel strengthened by it. Thank you.

"We need to create a phenomenon...by actually speaking to working class people".

OK. But what exactly does it mean? How can this be done within the Democratic Party? By another year and a half of totally inconsequential appeals to it culminating on the side of a road outside another DNC event?

Here is a bit more practical and realistic perspective formulated by Chris Hedges who summarizes Kshama Sawant:

"The engine for change will be a militant labor movement independent of the Democratic Party. Political campaigns must be organized around demands, not personalities and focused on the 80 million people who do not vote. The Democratic Party cannot be reformed from the inside."

And this is Kshama herself:

"New labor leaders will need to rally workers and unite a majority of working people around a common working-class based program in defiance of traditional unions and the Democratic Party. We need a courageous rank and file leadership to make that happen. The force of change will be a revival of the militant labor movement."

In other words, the only realistic approach in the current circumstances would be focusing on grassroots initiatives to build a nationwide movement, not some "progressive" politician or entity trying to become a savior of the working class...

If there is a silver lining for me in the election results, it is the feeling of a certain kind of freedom from the need to compromise where I stand in advance in the interest of political practically within Democratic Party politics (in particular in the interest of my ambitions of someday serving in Congress). If elected office is in my future, I now consider myself free to define where I stand in pursuit of it purely on the basis of what I consider right in order to live “with the Earth” rather than on the earth. If people think I was radical as a social democrat staunchly supporting Bernie Sanders, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Going forward, I intend to speak from and for the international laws and usages that were so much a part of life on Turtle Island before the eurochristians invaded, bringing with them their system of domination. The American Constitution—and American democracy in general—was in its origins an effort to emulate, without giving any credit to the peoples of the Native Nations, their more genuine self-government. Time to go back to first principles. And this time get it right! https://www.schwartzbergforcongress.com

When colonisers dominate indigenous people and desanctify the land, when they cannot respect what was there before - trouble awaits. And that trouble escalates until the truth is truly acknowledged. There is deep healing to be done. I truly pray that this is the beginning of a profound turn of events that will bring hope and strength in vulnerability for the future, particularly for the young whose sense of hopelessness is tangible on all sides.

We've seen the DNC be called out on corruption so many times. More corrupt than anything Donald Trump has said. You are right there needs to be a complete overhaul in the party. Get out the Obamas, the Pelosis, the Clinton's. But how? It's really nuts for instance how many times they tried to sue RFK Jr. out of the race. Kamala's strange ride. Hiding Biden until they couldn't (who called half the country garbage). I would love to know who is behind this corruption and why Democrats can still call themselves Democrats. Good on Tulsi for her stand. It sends a clear message.

“I felt so many times over the last three months, “My Lord, he’s running a presidential campaign and she’s running a fundraising campaign.””

THIS is utter BULLSHIT. Your anger at the DNC may be justified in some ways, but your vision on this issue is completely convoluted because of that anger and your own hubris.

THERE WAS NOTHING ABOUT HIS CAMPAIGN OR HIMSELF THAT WAS PRESIDENTIAL. If you think that CLOWN SHOW / WWE exhibition was a PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, I think your idea of it is ENTERTAINMENT.

I'm moving through the phase of grief into action. Yes, I agree our political system, our government needs a complete overhaul and restoration to democracy (if we ever were a true democracy). We need to take back from country from the control of special interest and kleptocracy. But how can we join together to make that happen? What actions can we take? We need some direction here. I don't want to stand around wringing my hands and watching it happen.. I think we have to work together to be a force that will be heard.

My faith in humans as a species, and my trust in white women is shattered. Still trying to make sense of the horror and how to move forward. Thank you, as ever, Marianne for being the voice of reason. Your sister giant conference in 2017 inspired me to write “Royal Resistance” about a princess that runs for president to save the country of her birth. The character’s campaign and platform is an amalgamation of everything I’ve learned from you and your books. If only the book wasn’t fiction. Please do another political conference. We need you and your political/spiritual leadership.

Marrianne, Iwant to thank you for your words of encouragement and Hope. Tonight, I shared them at a gathering of the league of Women Voters. They were well received and people showed their appreciation for them by thanking me for sharing it. At the end of the evening as we were all going our separate ways, I really felt a Feeling of something special and energetic starting in my life with this group of new friends. A group that I feel I can be a part of in a positive way to be able to serve our greater good. I love you. Thanks again.

We are aware that the politicians of both parties are not concerned with the best interest of the people they are elected to serve. They are serving special interest and capitalism. Our government is no longer for the people, by the people. In other words, it is no longer a democracy. Until this changes and the elites are replaced with true representation of the people we will be subjected to the insanity of the recent election, people making choices based on what they perceive as the least of two evils. This is the only way someone like Trump could become the President of our country. Let's give the country back to the people.
