Every Republican Senator and House member who won't support gun safety legislation should be required to view the autopsy photos of the children who were murdered at Uvalde. Then, they should have to meet one on one with the parents of those children and explain to them why they support the NRA instead of children.

I’m not shutting up. As a former teacher and mom to a daughter with a serious mental illness, I’ll continue to advocate for safer gun laws and improved mental health services in this country. Thank you Marianne for continuing to use your voice to educate others and change policies.

Oh, Marianne, thank you for not shutting up! I join you in making my voice known again and again and again until our “leaders” do something to enact these common sense gun laws.

If only we had leaders like New Zealand’s prime minister Jacinda Ardern or YOU! As you said during your Presidential Campaign, “We need a Mother in the White House.” God bless you. 💕

The central banksters global govt agenda is to scrap the US Amendments which is why they sent in the NZ PM to USA to suggest ending the right to bear arms and freedom of speech.

Jacinda Ardern is the war criminal's (Tony Blairs) X secretary.

She is a leader of unconsciousness and corporate agendas.

(I do wish people would ween themselves off the corporate media .)

A country that worships the Military and Weapons and uses War and Violence to solve every problem (and make no mistake that Sanctions violently kill the poor and vulnerable) should not be surprised when its young see violence as an answer to their problems.

Got it, on it! Thanks Marianne for speaking truth to power.

I liked it when Sen. Murphy of CT mentioned this week that it's no wonder we seem to be losing our democracy when Congress is not truly representing the people in their greatest times of need. I applaud his honesty! We need to oust the rascals who take money from harmful sources since it perpetuates the madness. Peace!

The Republicans (men), have a Domestic Violence hold on women in this country because they are cowards when it comes to dealing with the bully's on the playground (NRA). And the Democrats (men), are being silent with it all to save themselves from the abuse they would get if they spoke up. It's time for the rest of us on the play ground to unite together and step in to disarm the bullies, with our actions and our voices.

"You operate from the belief you must protect yourself from what is happening because it must contain what threatens you. A sense of threat is an acknowledgement of an inherent weakness; a belief that there is danger which has power to call on you to make appropriate defence. The world is based on this insane belief. And all its structures, all its thoughts and doubts, its penalties and heavy armaments, its legal definitions and its codes, its ethics and its leaders and its gods, all serve but to preserve its sense of threat. For no one walks the world in armature but must have terror striking at his heart. Defence is frightening. It stems from fear, increasing fear as each defence is made. You think it offers safety. Yet it speaks of fear made real and terror justified. Is it not strange you do not pause to ask, as you elaborate your plans and make your armour thicker and your locks more tight, what you defend, and how, and against what? " (ACIM Lesson 135).

Lay the weapons down.

I think the access to kids getting guns is the issue. Especially mentally unstable kids. As we saw in Michigan, the school clearly identified an issue with the child but if parents or guardians don’t do anything to intervene it is a must point. All schools need more money for mental health and one on one counseling. Also, we need to start identifying if there is a trend with the pharmaceutical drugs that kids are put on. To date I don’t think this is being done.

Thank you for your continued leadership. I believe you are right that we cannot tolerate this anymore. By doing so, we are essentially as at fault as the politicians . It is our country and we need to make more noise .

Could we not call this mental illness? It stigmatizes the mentally ill, who are much more likely to be victims of gun violence than perpetrators. Let's call it a public health issue.

How many unseen wounds are we showing our children . You simply respond that when American abandoned god in public and society, we lost our value for human life.

We don’t have a gun issue

We have a heart issue.

No one is taught the value and sanctity of life t

Then there’s the decimation and destruction of masculinity - men have lost their way.

Next we have nothing but smut in the public square, a host of mental health issues and people who have no purpose

The USA not so many years ago, when God was

Allowed in schools and the public square, had kids (older) go to school with guns in their cars, could go in and buy guns, car companies sold pick ups with gun racks and guns as enticements.

School teachers and principals took kids hunting and such. Gun safety was taught in schools.

They were taught to value life as

You tell them politely that the USA politicians don’t want to “fix” anything because far too many are corrupt and profit that there will never be any accountability . You tell and show our children a double standard

You tell them some wars aren’t meant to be won because of the money to be made

Just look at the war on drugs and terrorism

It’s a way to get a grab at freedom and liberty that’s so many risk their life and family to come to.

And that conflict is being intentionally created to cause things like this and to create chaos.

But we, like many others, are waking up to the destruction done and taking place. Many are far too late to reconciliation with this, yet they are starting to fight back and want to return to basic moral values and principles that span any and all religions.

Basic human decency and a respect and value for life.

Moved to ACTION!!!

I'm calling Sen Ron Johnson & Rep Steil to insist he do something (at a minimum enhanced background checks). Also Sen Baldwin to thank and support her for standing up to the gun lobby.

I read a quote from students who walked out in protest "It's easier to buy a gun than to see a therapist". This is the problem - we have to fix both sides of that factual statement.

Thanks & Love to you Marianne 💜
