It is absolutely possible for things to change - "change your thinking, change your life" - "what you focus your attention on, you get more of". If we would begin focusing our attention on what we want more of - we would get more of that. What we have been encouraged to do is focus on what we don't want and we get more of that. Traditional therapy focuses on what's broken and what needs to be fixed, which brings more of what's broken and needs to be fixed. The "Universe" says "YES" to all we give our attention to.
I try to limit my time spent with cynical personalities as much as possible as I truly believe in miracles and prayer. There are times though when I find myself feeling hopeless about particular situations, I need to focus more on my thoughts in these times and think about endless possibilities and retain my optimism. It was wonderful to read this Marianne. You are one of my all time favourite spiritual heroās and a true healer. God bless you ā¤ļø

It seems for too long people have been following leaders in their country who feared doing right by the people, and people have adopted this behaviour with each other. We are lead by people who fear working from the spiritual energy of love, goodness, and holiness.
You're talking about me! I need this wake-up call. On one hand I send loving kindness to all and bask in the beauty that surrounds me... then I become utterly overwhelmed by the suffering. We are in this together and I thank God you are here.

Thanks for this essential reminder. We do need to be on the lookout for that unhelpful, disheartening cynicism, and to continually re-mind .
