Sometimes it’s only a tiny flower growing up through cement. Or a blade of grass just coming out of the ground. Or a vague thought, or a shout out loud: “Hell yes, I’m showing up for this.” A does of love, or a dose of courage. The tiniest movement leads in time to a mighty blast of power.

We need your optimism now more than ever since Trump will soon occupy the White House.
Thank you, Marianne. This lifts my spirit. The spirit of life in you is noticing the spirit of life in us all. We are planning, we are processing, but we will sprout in the name of all that is love, in the name of all that is good, in the name of all that is holy. Again, I appreciate your words. I wrote an email to your Marianne@Marianne2024.com email. I will not be passing through D.C. after all at the turn of the year. I did not receive the scholarship for the meditation retreat I mentioned, so I will bloom where I am planted for now. I would still like to talk at some point if you are willing in regards to how I want to move forward about the potential of running for office in my state— whether it be local or federal. I am feeling called to share my story. I feel like, many like me, need to be inspired to DO SOMETHING. For the love of god, I cry out: SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING. I find that that voice of the universe saying back to me in silence and stillness: it is up to us. All of us.
Actually, I only repeated what you wrote because I really need some optimism now that we are facing four years of who knows what that man will do to our county and our democracy. I pray that he will somehow be neutralized by others with wisdom. I love seeing a blade of grass growing up through cement which I did yesterday. It gives me hope.
