Really looking forward to that feminine century Zainab predicts! Things aren’t trending great right now, but hopefully all the transgressions against feminine values we’re currently seeing will ultimately become the springboard we need to get there. This conversation featured all the nurturing, collaborative & creative examples of feminine values the world is starving for. So grateful for this conversation & hope a lot of media types watch this & become inspired to up their own games.

Your valuable work Marianne and Ms. Salbi's cannot be underestimated. Your making a dent to balance our moral compass. However, as a woman in the third act of her life, I am deeply concerned that our own government didn't even recognize the importance of freeing Afghanistan's women leaders as much as Afghan male leaders.

Most women around the world are still living with the deeply imbedded consequences of patriarchy--some even supporting it to their own detriment. I will be an upstander until my last breath to support all women since we have the innate capacity to save Mother Earth. Now we must dig deeply into ourselves to have the will to unite even more to preserve sentient beings.

My love to all who still care what happens here!

Marianne, thank you once again for your courage and commitment to Truth-Telling, in this case regarding our 20-year engagement in waging war in Afghanistan and the tragic consequences for those we left behind. Zainab’s story moved me both to tears and activism and I’ve just made my first contribution to Women for Women. May the voices for peace - through activists like you and Zainab - be heard around the world so that we may see the day when “nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (P.S. I’m still wearing my Marianne 2020 US Department of Peace sweatshirt!) Much love ❤️

Amazing Interview with Zainab Salbi, what an incredible activist and humanitarian. We need to hear more stories out of Afghanistan so we can keep Women’s Rights on the forefront. There is now so much fear and hopelessness. Thank you Marianne for keeping the conversation going 🙏🏽

Thank you Marianne for another fascinating and informative interview. Zainab's story was so incredibly moving. I admire her courage, her determination and her heart. It was truly inspiring.

Hearing the truth in these stories you are sharing with us is both infuriating and heart-breaking - but also necessary if we truly want to bring about a change in our world. As others commented below, I also welcome and look forward to a major shift to more feminism-based thought and energy in our world. It is long over-due, and I feel is our only hope for survival. I just made my first monthly donation to Women for Women. Many blessings to Zainab and to all the women all over the world that benefit from her work.
