With President Trump’s transition team already moving into high gear, people are processing the tremendous changes - and what many fear would be tremendous chaos - that could result from his policies starting on Day One of the new administration. From threats of mass deportations, to legal action taken against his political enemies (I know, I know, “They did it to him, so…”), to militarizing the police response to legal protests, this country could be in for a very dramatic time just down the road.
For those of us adamantly opposed to such policies, we need to move quickly in order to be prepared to adequately respond should they come to pass. Our processing needs to be smart, strategic, and courageous. And we need to understand what took us to this point in order to figure out what to do now…
The audio above is from a radio interview I gave this morning on The Lisa Wexler Show airing on WICC in Connecticut. I hope you find it interesting. (There is one place where I misspoke. I said I had higher poll numbers at one point than other Democratic candidates, when I meant Republicans. I’m sure you’d realize that, but just in case).
Onwards!
