When Marianne ran for President, well, the world wasn't ready yet for her ideals, and many Americans are still clinging to the misguided notions that having money, power, and a position within the current governance/capitalistic system signifies the apex of individual achievement--even when that means being corrupt to get things done!

Today's pandemic gives us a chance to reconsider, as a people and nation, what truly matters to each of us and the collective whole; then, take action. But this requires tremendous courage and inner strength. Do we get up in the morning to fight another day for the common good, as Marianne suggests, or decide to emigrate to countries where they have maintained a moral compass while ours has broken into pieces that may never be reglued? Or do we try even harder instead to manifest something even better that never was?

I contemplate these conflicting ideas every day knowing of very worthy lifelong U.S. citizens who are planning to leave our country forever due to the current milieu, and a few who have already left. Then, I remind my self of what Robert F. Kennedy said when I was a young woman striving to do good as a newspaper reporter: "Some men see things as they are, and say why. I dream of things that never were, and say why not."

Bobby's quote has kept me going for years, while dealing with those often dedicated to outworn ways of doing and behaving. Now I see a crack of light in the darkness that says, maybe, just maybe the world is almost ready to accept Marianne's offer to fully help evolve our nation and people since she's a tremendous leader who avoids moral hazard. She exhibits the character I wish to see in a President! The rest is up to the people: do we go forward, backward or leave?

"In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “When every hope is gone, when helpers fail and comforts flee, I find that help arrives somehow, from I know not where.” I believe in my heart it will arrive for us."... This is Wonderful ... Perhaps the best you've ever written!

I was in a Science of Mind class a few years ago, and we did an automatic writing exercise for “Life” to communicate to us through a letter. My experience was transformational. This is the letter that came through me:

Dear Patti -

Thank you so much for all you’ve given to those citizens on your planet that keep getting the message they are unloved, and unwanted – rejected and abandoned. You know what that feels like, and you’ve dedicated your life to helping them see they are so much more and have so much more to give the world.

Over the years, you have developed the knowledge, and skills to be more effective in presenting this message and I want to encourage you to continue on this path because it’s your passion and people are waiting to hear it.

Thank you again – In Love and Light,

“Life”

I find myself now, after almost 40 years of working in government agencies, in the process of writing a book to shine a light on the Department of Human Services and the model that has been in operation since it’s inception that provides no exit plan for moving out of survival mode and dependency. Our agencies are numbers driven and funding is provided based on the numbers that are being served so if the numbers go down, indicating successfully moving out of the system of dependence and into the possibility of self-sufficiency, the funding goes down. I have worked in Corrections, Child Protection, Job Corps and with homeless Veterans at the VA. Believe me when I say, I have a big picture view of the co-dependent relationship that has been established between the agencies providing services and the clients needing the programs and services that are provided. Our government agencies are overwhelmed with the numbers of people to serve because there is no focus of moving them from survive to thrive – because they don’t know how, and the system doesn’t support it. I have a saying that helps me with my frustrations, “You can’t know what you don’t know, but once you know, you can’t NOT know”. I don’t think the average person has any idea of what’s going on in our government agencies and maybe by shining a light, people will begin to see that we need a new model because the old one is archaic and trauma inducing.

I realize that just as with the demonstrations to end the war in Vietnam we as citizens need to stop talking so much and take action. We need to call our congress persons and demand that they get back to representing what we want rather than what big Pharma, big banks, and political pacs want. We need to get our feet in the street and demand that all of those who participated in the 1/6 insurrection be charged and prosecuted no matter who they are. We need to love our Country enough to sacrifice for it. Anyone care to join me?

Thank you so much! Your words are the tough love of responsible action-taking, Marianne. At present, I'm working on myself in order to be the best help to the whole. I not only believe and appreciate your 'full disclosure' approach to America's current status, I have crucial living experience that proves Love is the only thing that will save our democracy and species.

Again Marianne reminds me why I can’t give into cynicism & reminds me why & how I can still be hopeful. Thank you Marianne.

Amen. Change happens when we change our thoughts. Aligning them with God informs any actions we need to take. Love points the way.

How beautifully this message synchronizes with your Morning Meditation today:

“Dear God,

Please work the impossible where a miracle is needed.

Please bring forth love

Where fear is rampant.

Please pave a way beyond all darkness

And show the light to me.

Amen.”

Marianne, you’ve said it all - twice! 💕🙏🇺🇸💕

You are much more knowledgeable than I, but I still say that we have flushed the most important think down the toilet. That is, America was created as One Nation Under God. If there is no God, there is no self reflection. I did not just come up with this. It has been know for thousands of years. There were also laws that we were given, that we ignored. We have to look within ourselves. We cannot depend on other people to do it for us. I still believe that things happen for a reason, we may not understand why, but we should believe anyway. Our inner voice is very important, but we ignore it and make excuses. We are not the souls of the perpetrators, we are more enlightened souls, that see the history and see what has been done. There is no excuse for hate anymore or corruption or greed. Yes, we have become too comfortable with ourselves and selflessness is the closest thing to what our creator wants of us. But, each of us, I suppose. Make this journey in our own time. We have to wake up and, as my father used to say, smell the roses. We have neglected a lot of things. If there is, what these young people are calling a, “Third Constuction”, we need to find ourselves first! Every individual on their own, look into themselves and see what their motives are. Are they making this change out of love or hate? Do they want this, “New World” because they want what they want! It’s about them ultimately. We can only control ourselves and the rest is up to One God. We are not in control and it is our egos that says we are. Now, we can make worlds! I don’t think so. This will lead to chaos. We have already been given the rules.
