Marianne, I am cynical too when it comes to the D.C. bubble. Here's my take on your dialogue:

> Your guest was being mostly diplomatic while trying, perhaps, preserve his own interests, and

>I agree with you that our immoral war crimes are "now an industry"!

>We need to drastically transform our educational, governance, economic, and social systems while making 'peace' profitable--outlawing war (a failed strategy)! (Your idea with Dennis Kucinich to establish a Department of Peace is still a beautiful one: it's an evolutionary step needed on Earth.) And I am glad you cited the military's role in green house gas emissions.

>The people are sadly duped a lot about our military entanglements.

>We need thrivable action from leaders at the top, like you, and from the 'collective' or whole, including a peaceful uprising of the people--encompassing those at the bottom of the wrung too--all lovingly joining together to move us forward; otherwise, we face collapse and extinction. It's that simple and yet that complex too, and we cannot give up as long as we still breathe!

> Finally, Marianne, I am glad you are continuing to shed awareness regarding our patriarchal, antiquated war-like behavior--we need your matriarchal insights to get us toward balance and a third-way to live and love that goes beyond 'ether or' to 'and, and, and and'! Bravo for this interview albeit it's not an easy topic to consume before bedtime! Peace!

“I’m very glad that you are here in Washington to raise these issues because, quite frankly, we don’t have enough voices saying the kinds of things you say…speaking these kinds of iconoclastic truths to people..” Amen, Joe! It’s why I’m a patron. Amplify the best & ignore the rest! It’s the only way to flip the script.

Lets discuss peace .

And how to get peace.

It is within.

We know war is hate in action.

War is a mistake. No one ever wins (except the central banking cabal and their corporations and this " win" is financial for them but always the taxpayers losses).

Its good for us to see a mistake was made and this is essential for leaning ( something corporate govt does not do as it ignores the people's feedback).

Surely we saw this back in 911?or did the media( terror/fear) cloud our vision?

We know the inner state manifests the outer.

Where is the hate ( fear) coming from... if not from us?

Fear is the ego's constant state.(Anger and hate both stem from fear).

The media has been running a fear psyop, let us be aware that media amplifies unconsciousness.

Let us see humanity is in the grip of fear.

911 was the start of a terror psyop, a media campaign for war.

Our rights and freedoms started to be erased following 911 .

Psyop covid19 re-triggered the collective trauma and kept people in a state of fear until that fear was unconscious, a habitual state, people have became hyper- vigilant and threat biased.

Even other people( and closeness) became a threat.

Let us start to question the reality of the media and the corp govt paid experts words and if we must watch the " news" ask " is this really so".

Least we do not see the fearful (delusional) state of the many, the collective fear and thus have this unacknowledged fear that is threatening to take more freedoms (and our human rights).

Action from fear creates more problems.

Fear manifests fascism.

Lets us not create enemies in a group of corporate/govt people that are unconscious(" forgive them for they know not what they do").

Let us not play blame games with a few visible puppets.

Being the change we want to see.

Let us be always be aware of what we feel and when we feel this emotion- fear-( or anger) let us not resist it. Instead of turning away of denying let us put a hand on our heart drop down into our bodies and feel the physical sensations that come with fear and provide our bodies with a wave of self compassion, in order to transmute the feeling into awareness.

So as not to bring fear into this world... only love

May you be healthy

May you be happy

Namaste

I just turned off CNN to watch this podcast instead. I so appreciate the guests you are having on this platform. Because we just can't get this information and these conversations in main stream media. This is definitely an education for me and I am grateful. Thank you!

I totally agree with you Marianne when you say it's the way we left Afghanistan the problem and not the fact that we stop that war...

And come on Joe Cirincione, how can you say that they did a remarquable job (18:00 mark). Americans were left behind and just that is a huge mistake. Second, to blame the military is very cheap. It was writting on the wall that something bad was building after seeing all those towns falling to the Taliban. We should defend Kabul until everybody out!

Thank you Marianne for giving this blog post the proper title! I’ve been speaking about the war profiteers for a long time. I’m grateful you have the Courage to call it what it is!! Enough with dumbing us down. Do they think the American public can’t handle the Truth? In any case, I appreciate your Bravery & Voice in a time where many of us are being told to be quiet, don’t look at that, and most of all, Don’t think for yourself!! The establishment has been doing that for decades. I see the War Machine, more than see it, I see the devastating effects this machine has had on our families, communities, and around the world. Enough is enough! Often i think bring back the draft….then maybe we wouldn’t be so apathetic. I’ll keep praying🙏🏻Miracle~Working🙏🏻Keep on keeping on with the good trouble!🌞Love to you🌹🌹🌹and All🌹🌹🌹

VERY glad you are deep diving into the money trail. A study of empires by John Hobson (1902) found that they are driven by extremely high level financiers. These few take control of their home government, and then deploy its military to plunder other countries' resources. They make enormous profits while pushing massive costs onto the public (both money and lives). They also take ownership of the major media to control public opinion (and help control the politicians). A good sketch of the financial empire behind our military empire, its origins and many tentacles, is in the article on banking at <i>"War Profiteer Story"</i>

Thanks for all you are doing.
