My mom was born in 1916 before women had the right to even vote in the U.S. She remained adamant until her last breath that women be free, and she always said our government has no right to interfere regarding female health choices! I am as flummoxed by how rapidly our country is moving backwards as I am with the rise of mostly male white supremacy and Putin too!

Marianne, you are a much needed voice and I stand with you and appreciate your higher calling. After a life of 5.5 decades stuck in a helpless HELL from what I now know was severely debilitating Developmental Trauma, DV, alcoholism, lovelessness, and cruelty and abuse of all kinds, that damage completely fashioned a powerless identity and false narrative about myself and the world, and gratefully my ongoing spiritual transformation has brought me full-circle. The reality of abortion, misogyny, patriarchy, Eve-bashing, and immoral agendas has caused so many women, like myself, to suffer greatly. I lost my chance at being a mother after terminating 3 pregnancies (17, 20, 23) because none of the circumstances were 'planned' even remotely--in fact, the first was a rape by 3 men. Even more relevant, however, I knew internally that I was messed up and did not want to take the risk that I would harm my own as a repeat of what had been done to me. I have forgiven myself by now because I know that God created me as I am and loves me without judgement. I believe my story can be a positive source of help today irrespective of what 4 men and 1 woman say. I was made to problem-solve and so I shall by replacing fear with love every day and showing up.
