Morning Meditation Day 66
Let others think with mercy toward me, and I with mercy toward them.
Let others think with mercy toward me, and I with mercy toward them.
How often I’m reminded of God‘s mercy toward me, as repeatedly I’ve made mistakes and been allowed to begin again. Surely mercy is woven into the nature of God’s love.
May I learn to show mercy to others as God has shown mercy toward me. May I not withhold my gracious allowance for the mistakes of the mortal self. May others feel from me both charity and compassion, no matter what they do.
Dear God,
May I not withhold from others
The mercy You have shown to me.
May I not scold others for their mistakes,
But rather provide a compassionate space
Where they feel free to begin again.
Amen
Let others think with mercy toward me, and I with mercy toward them.
I believe that there are blinded people in our Congress . Blinded by childhood shames ., faults of the flesh, abused by others they made bad choices and pursue venality vs charity . And they’ve ignored the nobility of the call to represent others of this huge Nation . We can begin anew! Remade in Christ all can start fresh . Who am I to judge ? No. I refuse to judge . But I fight evil and hold out Romans 6:23. Thank you all . It’s nice to hear from kindred spirits .
ACIM and your wisdom through these meditations is dismantling the fearful misperceptions I carried of myself and the external world, Marianne, and I am so grateful to finally be able to step into My True Light and see others for theirs!
