Dear Friends,
Having traveled in several countries over the last few months, one thing that’s obvious to me is that the stresses of modernity are impacting us all. The dramas of the outer world are pressing down upon us in various ways both large and small.
The greatest antidote to this assault on our nervous system is a strong sense of self, based not on over-identification with the material world but on a realization of our spiritual identity and its larger purpose.
For that, we train. We train our attitudinal muscles for inner peace and stillness within, just as we train our physical muscles so that the body can move powerfully in the world. Spirituality develops a strong inner core.
Soon I will be teaching a six-week coaching coarse in the basics of a spiritual worldview, based on the universal spiritual themes in A Course in Miracles. The course will begin on November 1 and consists of six weekly ninety-minute classes.
If you’re interested in seeing beyond the superficial dynamics of the material world, thereby learning to affect them most powerfully, check out Developing Your Wings: Embodying Mysticism in the Modern World.
(Paid Substack subscribers will receive a 25% off code for the course in a follow-up email.)
All my best,
Marianne

Looking forward to this as always 💕
