May WE pray for God’s blessing for another year of life, indeed. WOW. on point and hitting chords, especially in relation to your dharma vs. karma article.

Marianne - I'm new to your newsletter \ Transform community and it has been resonating with many thoughts and ideas that have crossed my mind and heart lately. Thank you, look forward to reading, watching and listening to more of your work.

Just want to say Thanks for the information about the Jewish practice of Atonement. We all have so much to learn and apply to alter the dangerous path that civilization is on as of 2021.

This is such a beautiful post and such a significant part of our growth, to atone for mistakes we make in our journey, to learn from them and see the light within us. Thank you so much!!

Yes let us be aware of our mistakes and learn from them.

” Sin is a word that has been greatly misunderstood and misinterpreted. Literally translated from the ancient Greek in which the New Testament was written, to sin means to miss the mark, as an archer who misses the target, so to sin means to miss the point of human existence. It means to live unskillfully, blindly, and thus to suffer and cause suffering. Again, the term, stripped of its cultural baggage and misinterpretations, points to the dysfunction inherent in the human condition.”ET

Awareness.

It is our lack of Self awareness leads to continued ignorance which is the cause of human beings inflicting harm to beings( Gaia is a being).

Our lack of knowing that the other is no other but is in fact "I" the one Life.

Once we are Self aware and that is primary, we stop missing the mark "sinning" .

Every breath is a blessing from God and the one here and now can bring you home .

You can ride it like a wave.

Home where there is no sin , guilt, shame, suffering or regrets just peace.

My Jewish friends, on Yom Kippur, attended a memorial service today, along with me, in Minnesota for a very prominent former U.S. state department foreign service worker and advocate for journalism! His name was Michael Hugh Anderson. Mike was my lifelong friend, and I was so happy to see my former J-School college mates--we all worked together at the "Minnesota Daily" newspaper--the largest University newspaper published on the planet during the late '60s and early '70s. But my point here is the love that brought everyone together despite different cultural backgrounds: It's the wave of the future--the need for the union of all together to help Earth and support each other! Mike would have been so pleased!

Love to all.
