Indeed, Marianne, these are heart-wrenching days. They will require all of us, who still have reverence for life, to take action whenever we get even a glimpse or hint of depraved policies or plans to be harmfully foisted onto our world's stage.

Today, after reading your words, I thought of President Abraham Lincoln. He stated: "We shall meanly lose or nobly save the last hope of earth."

My love to you Marianne and all who join here. We must, together, "become one" to truly give birth to peace.

Two things the country can do to make a peaceful future much more likely - both domestically and overseas - is give back to congress the sole authority to declare war, and reintroduce the Secret Ballot.

"The secret ballot brought an immediate reduction to election violence, intimidation and bribery."

"By curbing the government capture of the Gilded Age, the secret ballot opened the door for the Progressive Era."

"Open door committees and public ‘roll-call’ voting leads to gridlock, partisanship, legislative warfare, soaring campaign finance and special interest capture."

Fighting Terrorism with terrorism doesn't stop terrorism.

Just as hate does not stop hate.

We cant wait for politicians( corporate employees in the political and economic monopoly that we have) to change . Politics is part of the problem. Politics is not going to make us enlightened its a challenge to help us wake us to who we are. Politics has long since be coined "the art of deception". Let us not be deceived again.

We have to be the peace we want to see in the world.

“Not by might & not by power, shall we all live in peace” as Debbie Friedman paraphrased Zechariah in her song. Bless you, Marianne, for being not only a voice, but a power, for peace in our world. May we all join you in this effort before it’s too late! 💕❤️💕

We should say no to war! We did so en-masse after 9/11 across the world we marched peacefully saying no to war, “not in my name” but did they listen…. No! will they listen now?? We need the collective consciousness to become aware and hold a sacred vision for peace. Plus governments that listen to the people

Thankyou for this. Blessing and love for those who had loved ones and people they knew on the flights. Im unsure if this pertains to me on the other of the world. I live in Australia but from Aotearoa New Zealand. I wonder how I can join a group or someone like Marianne's groups here to begin a change from where I am. Probably a silly question of course there is. I just not sure who..must pray about this one

It seems to me that we can not go too far in any exploration of political science without bringing the questions back to Man's origin. Political values, like all values, must ultimately be based on some sense of Universal Truth. May the reset be one that brings us to an active, joyful exploration of the source, purpose, and definition of LIVING as an immediate and pertinent, not peripheral, question relegated to religion alone. May all our paths meet at Truth.

Thank you for all your words concerning peace ! I took the peace pledge at World Without War website today. It will take all of us to remain stand fast and not bend to the whims of elected legislators who act as warmongers on our behalf so they say. We are wiser and aware of all those who benefit from war than we were several years ago. May we stand for Peace!
